A great bite to eat. My family was in town as my grandfather was in the hospital for a bit (staff there were wonderful as well) but we were between this place and the Shamrock Pub for lunch one day. I don’t know how the other place was but this food was fantastic. We got the River City Pearls(dipping sauce was DELICIOUS) and the Southwest Egg Rolls (careful! Hot!!) to start and then I had the Sloppy Northman burger on a pretzel bun which was AMAZING. I was so full from all the food I had to have them take the last quarter of the burger away or I was gonna hurt myself finishing it! Delicious food, friendly staff, and a nice low key atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This restaurant has an impressively expansive menu, offering something for everyone. The newest addition—breakfast—is a great option. Plus, it’s the only restaurant open on a Monday in Dixon, which makes it even more of a lifesaver. The burger menu is so good. I was skeptical about the PB & J burger at first, but it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The fried green tomato BLT is another must-try—so delicious. And, of course, we couldn’t resist indulging in the cheesecake, which did not disappoint. To top it off, our server, Toby, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. If you're in Dixon and looking for great food, welcoming service, and a surprising variety of options, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back.
